As the newly appointed Foreign Director of the Huafa New Town Hospital, I recently participated in another launch event for our brand new digital health services. The event took place in a local community center located in the Xiangzhou area of Zhuhai.
Predominantly aimed at the elder age group we gave away free trial kits to members of the Xiangzhou community that enable our doctors to monitor their health remotely from their homes, allowing us to assist them without the need for them to always visit our hospitals.
This is certainly the way forward for the future of effective and efficient health care but of course, we must always maintain the doctor/patient, human relationship, which as we all know from using skype, wechat and many other similar software devices, can be achieved virtually with very positive results.
