Warm Ginger Porridge

This Recipe is: Vegetarian, Vegan, Dairy-free, Gluten-free

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time: 15 minutes

Serves: 3

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats (please note: some oats may contain gluten)
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup goji berries
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 2 teaspoons grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon agave syrup (or honey, brown rice syrup etc)
  • Pinch of salt

Directions:

  1. Bring water to a boil.
  2. Add oats, raisins, goji berries, ginger and a pinch of salt.
  3. Reduce heat to low
  4. Continue cooking until water is absorbed and oats become nice and creamy (about 7 minutes)
  5. Add sunflower seeds and agave
  6. Try using rice, soy or nut milk instead of water to make it even creamier!
