Lemon & Garlic Greens

This Recipe is: Vegetarian, Vegan, Dairy-free, Gluten-free

Prep Time: 1 minute

Cooking Time: 3-5 minutes

Serves: 2 or more

Ingredients:

  • Any choice of fresh green vegetable (e.g – Bok choy, cabbage, kale, spinach . . . )
  • 1-2 cloves garlic crushed or chopped
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil

Directions:

  1. Wash the greens well under water.
  2. Boil them, steam them or saute them in a pan for 3-5 minutes (they should appear bright in colour and still be slightly crunchy).
  3. Drain and place on plate.
  4. Pour over olive oil, squeezed lemon and mix in crushed garlic.
