As the newly appointed Foreign Director of the Huafa New Town Hospital, I recently participated in the launch event of our brand new digital health service. The event t took place in one of the community health centers that we own and operate in Gongbei, a district of Zhuhai City, China.
Predominantly aimed at the elder age group we gave away free trial kits to members of the Gongbei community that enable our doctors to monitor their health remotely from their homes, allowing us to assist them without the need for them to always visit our hospitals.
This is certainly the way forward for the future of effective and efficient health care but of course, we must always maintain the doctor/patient, human relationship, which as we all know from using skype, wechat and many other similar software devices, can be achieved virtually with very positive results.
